Briar Barns Wedding Grand Rapids

Kasey + Matt’s Boho Briar Barns Wedding

We are excited to share Kassey and Matt’s Briar Barn wedding story, which was a celebration of love and patience that unfolded at the rustic and charming venue just outside Grand Rapids, Michigan. Despite the challenges and postponements caused by the Covid-19 pandemic, this boho-inspired wedding was worth the wait. There were so many magical details throughout the day, but most memorable were the smiles, love and the breathtaking golden hour sunset capped off by an unforgettable dusk sparkler exit.

Kassey and Matt’s connection is palpable, and their smiles light up any room – especially when they are together. Their genuine joy and love radiated throughout their wedding day as they celebrated alongside their friends and family.

As the day unfolded, Kassey, Matt and their guests were treated to a spectacular golden hour, casting a warmest light over the entire celebration. We were thrilled to capture their sunset portrait session while the setting sun accentuated their newlywed bliss.

The magic didn’t end with the sunset. Kassey and Matt’s day concluded with a fairytale-like sparkler exit under the dusky sky. Their guests created a luminous pathway with giant sparklers and the promise of a beautiful journey of marriage ahead!

Kassey and Matt’s Briar Barn Wedding was a testament to the beauty that unfolds when dreams and long-desired plans come to fruition. We are sure the memories from their magical day will be forever etched in the hearts of all who attended, making their Briar Barn Wedding a cherished and timeless experience.

Won’t lie, I always thought celebrating children’s preschool graduations was a bit silly. That was until we experienced our first with Stella.

Watching her learn and grow has been unreal. She’s incredibly kind, caring and smart. All wonderful qualities she gets from her Mom. She’s curious, asks deep questions that are usually followed by “why?” She also doesn’t settle for no easily - that’s a trait she gets that from me - we like to call it “iron will.”

After graduation she was done and didn’t want to take photos. I begged for just one! The people pleaser in her caved, but she really meant one and we were done!

Hence, I present the perfect Stella photo. I know someday she’ll be thankful she took “one.”
