Farmington Hills Wedding – Cafe Cortina

Monica and Allen’s Farmington Hills wedding at Cafe Cortina Intimate Wedding was perfection.

The ceremony was held on the outdoor patio of the cafe where the two exchanged vows. After taking a moment for themselves, they greeted their closest friends and family. Dinner was served in the courtyard which is surrounded by lush greenery and shaded by tall trees.

The food at Cafe Cortina was amazing! You can tell there is an emphasis on high-quality fresh food. Without a doubt the best meal we’ve ever been served at a wedding.

The dance party that followed was unexpected! Guests of all ages were on the dance floor and nobody wanted to leave.

Monica and Allen finished their night off with some bride and groom photos before heading home together where they planned a small after-party at their home in Ferndale.

Won’t lie, I always thought celebrating children’s preschool graduations was a bit silly. That was until we experienced our first with Stella.

Watching her learn and grow has been unreal. She’s incredibly kind, caring and smart. All wonderful qualities she gets from her Mom. She’s curious, asks deep questions that are usually followed by “why?” She also doesn’t settle for no easily - that’s a trait she gets that from me - we like to call it “iron will.”

After graduation she was done and didn’t want to take photos. I begged for just one! The people pleaser in her caved, but she really meant one and we were done!

Hence, I present the perfect Stella photo. I know someday she’ll be thankful she took “one.”
