Private Plymouth Wedding

Monica and Marissa’s wedding was a true celebration of their love story. After dating for seven years and experiencing so many adventures together, the couple decided to tie the knot in a beautiful outdoor ceremony at a private residence. The Inn at St. John’s provided the perfect preparation space for the two of them to dress separately before their emotional first look in the courtyard.

Their wedding ceremony took place in the backyard of Marissa’s sister, surrounded by lush greenery and twinkling bistro lights that created a magical ambiance. The couple’s nieces and nephews added to the joyous atmosphere during the cocktail hour, climbing trees and enjoying delicious cookies as the main course.

As the sun set, speeches and first dances took place under the glowing lights. The early September weather in Michigan was perfect for the occasion, creating a romantic and unforgettable evening.

Monica and Marissa’s love story is filled with memorable moments, from brewing beer together to traveling to Uganda and Dubai. They have volunteered at church for eight years and watched countless beach sunsets in California. It was clear that their love for each other has only grown stronger with each passing year, and their wedding day was a true reflection of that love.

We wish Monica and Marissa a lifetime of happiness and adventure as they continue to create unforgettable memories together. Congratulations to the happy couple!

Won’t lie, I always thought celebrating children’s preschool graduations was a bit silly. That was until we experienced our first with Stella.

Watching her learn and grow has been unreal. She’s incredibly kind, caring and smart. All wonderful qualities she gets from her Mom. She’s curious, asks deep questions that are usually followed by “why?” She also doesn’t settle for no easily - that’s a trait she gets that from me - we like to call it “iron will.”

After graduation she was done and didn’t want to take photos. I begged for just one! The people pleaser in her caved, but she really meant one and we were done!

Hence, I present the perfect Stella photo. I know someday she’ll be thankful she took “one.”
